Cheryl & Jim can't wait to lead you to the biggest variety of birds in one workshop.   They will focus on the variety of Heron species, Egrets, Rosaette Spoonbills, Anhingas, Cormorants, Pelicans, you name it and you just may photograph it.  Join them on this tour to photograph not only these large birds but they also freqently see a varitey of water fowl, Osprey and even an Aligator or two.

You will have the possiblity of seeing over 100 different types of birds during this South Texas adventure. Cheryl & Jim will be right beside you the entire time offering suggestions on exposure, composition, camera setting, and finding the best locations to photograph.

During this workshop you will have the opportunity to:

  • Hone your skills with personal direction from a Master Photographer.

  • Learning what is the correct exposure including exposing for the highlights, exposing to the right and evaluating your histogram to achieve the perfect exposure.

  • Experiencing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

  • Possiblity of seeing over a 100 different bird species.

  • Gain invaluable insights into the behavior, habitat, and conservation efforts of these fascinating creatures.

  • Tripod handling and hand-holding techniques

  • Photographing different sun angles for different effects.

  • Understanding  wind direction and how it impacts bird photography

  • Post-processing and workflow using  Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
